A feasibility study was made on creating a Jewish Museum at the El Griba Synagogue, on the Cerbe island. El Griba Synagogue has the distinction of being the oldest synagogue on the African continent.
A round table meeting was organized by the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism on the planned museum and was attended by Nisya İşman Allovi representing the The Quincentennial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews as the museum director. She shared her experiences and introduced the museum's collection.
