There are two important characteristics that symbolize Turkish-Sephardic cuisine. One of these is the traditional cuisine brought from Spain and continued for centuries, and the other is the Turkish, Greek and Balkan cuisines added to these old traditions with the communication brought by living together for centuries. Sephardic cuisine is a Mediterranean cuisine with the flavors emerging from these two mixtures and the characteristics of carrying the traces of many cultures within it.
