Religion is not a reality that is detached from life, that is dressed up as an afterthought. Religions are fundamentally shaping the individual, the family and society, seeking the possibilities of living a better life. An important part of this is eating habits. Sacred texts lay down the principles of proper nutrition. Nevertheless, these eating habits contain theological differences.
In this presentation, the concept of Kosher in Judaism and the Halal laws of Islam will be compared in this sense.
