The Jewish diaspora began to form in the 6th century BC, when Jews left their homeland of Canaan for various reasons and migrated to different parts of the world. Some of the Jews also turned to Anatolia and established their living spaces in different regions. In the light of the data available as a result of the archaeological studies carried out to date, the Jewish presence in Anatolia, which we can trace, has met us sometimes with tombstones, inscriptions, and sometimes with synagogue structures. Moderated by Doğan Pinhas, Dr. İnci Türkoğlu and Architect Çiğdem Öner have a conversation based on the architectural remains of the Jewish presence in our lands.
