Description
Within the scope of the Sunday activities in the museum, on Sunday, 19 May, the concert of the Lausanne Exchangees Choire will begin at 15:00.
Founded in September 2005, Lausanne Exchangees Foundation Choire sings common songs in Turkish and Greek, Pomaks, Macedonian songs and folk songs, from both sides of the Aegean, brought from the ancestral lands of the Ottoman Empire. The exchangees' descendants will sing the songs of both sides of the Aegean at a concert in Neve Şalom Synagogue. The Lausanne Exchangees Foundation Choire promises the audience a wonderful atmosphere at the concert where the Ladino songs will be heard as a surprise language.
Since 2014, Garip MANSUROĞLU - a musician from Antakya - has been working with the choire. Accompanying orchestral staff:
